Winter 2009
It's been another cracking Christmas for MurderMysteryEvents.com, we've continued to build on our past successes with a great season of shared Christmas parties at the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel and many private events in London, Cambridge, Windsor, Southampton, Southend, Cardiff, Exeter, Stratford-upon-Avon and many more.
We've welcomed more excellent venues on to our recommended list, so if you need help with venue finding give us a call.
Our new plot for Christmas "Sherlock Holmes and Santa's Slaying" had a fantastic response and is now available for bookings for Christmas 2010.
Our new plot "The Happy Hen" is proving very successful with fantastic responses from the Hen Parties who've booked so far.
We have new dates in the diary for shared parties, which will be added to in the next few months.
In development are a couple of new scripts, more on this soon! We will be expanding further in 2010 developing shared parties and weekend events in new areas for the UK.
Mark Hayden the company director joins the cast of "The Mousetrap" in London's West End in January and finishes his contract in late November 2010- so if you'd like to see Mark in action book your tickets now!
Autumn 2009
It's the busiest Halloween ever for us with more shared parties around the UK than ever before.
We have a range of exciting new Christmas parties on board for the festive season with events in Southend, Slough, Windsor, Guildford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cardiff, Buckingham.
We are doing several events with 3 Grange Hotels in London, covering the Westend, Kensington, Holborn and of course the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes in Baker Street.
We've just launched our new roleplay murder mystery especailly designed for Hen Nights. The new plot "The Happy Hen" is suitable for groups of 10 to 20 guests and is facilitaed by one or two professional actors, dependant on the package you choose. The plot is set in 1920's New York and guests play a range of characters. Clues are revealed througout the evening until the killer is unmasked. Mark ran again for Cancer Research raising over £260 for the Charity, he ran with some friends and plans to run next year with a MurderMysteryEvents.com team!
Summer 2008
We're continuing to enjoy a busy events calendar - we've had the busiest August since records began!
We move to a bigger office in August and have two new team members joining us.
Our shared events for Christmas are shaping up well. We have a few busy dates already during September, October and some Christmas dates.
We've launched our exclusive Sherlock Holmes Christmas packages which offer unrivalled quality value and choice for your Christmas party requirements.
We have officailly become a Carbon Neutral company, we've offset over double our carbon footprint with the Woodlands Trust and have an environmental policy which keeps our carbon footprint to a minimum.
We did quite a lot of research into offsetting schemes and believe that Woodlands Trust offer the best- the fee we pay actually plants trees and pays for their nurturing.
Environmental issues are something we're passionate about so we're delighted to be doing our bit!
Mark Hayden will once again be running in the 10k Challenge at Hampton Court in late September, supporting Cancer Research. He raised over £400 last year.
Spring 2008
We had a great show at RSVP 2008 at the Business Design Centre London, thanks to all those who visited us on the stand. It was great to see you.
We exhibited at the Times Creme Show at Olympia London in May 2008 which was an exciting experiment, we really enjoyed the show and met lots of great people. We're considering a second visit! We've been at RSVP (the events show) for the last 4 years, we'll be there again in Spring 2009 come and visit us at the Business Design Centre London! For more about RSVP click here

We like RSVP as it has lots of life and fresh ideas. It was our third year at the show. We really enjoy the buzz and an opportunity to meet our regular clients. I recommend giving the 2009 show a visit- it's great for new ideas! If you decide to pop along come and visit us we're already booked for RSVP 2009!
Press Night at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel
We had a great event early March at our shared party which runs monthly at the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes Hotel, Baker Street. The hotel had a few members of the press in giving us and the venue a review!
Here's what Megan McIntyre @ Rooster Publicity had to say about the event:
